Once on the Maneater PS5 Main Menu, press Triangle and confirm the UI prompt to import your local PS4 save which will overwrite all previous save slots you have on PS5.
Once the transfer is complete, existing PS4 trophies already unlocked will trigger for PS5 as well. Addiitonally, your PS4 save slots from the imported PS4 save will now appear in your save slots for PS5 when you select Continue and Play options on the Main Menu.
Maneater Truth Quest supports cross-buy along with the Maneater base game
New save files will use less space on console. This is to also help increase user save stability and decrease issues with progression lost -- NOTE: this only applies to new saves, old saves or save carried over from PS4 to PS5 will still be the larger file size
This is not a different application/game on Xbox Series S & X and saves and trophies/achievements will carry forward.
This may require subscriptions to additional services such as Xbox Gold (such as for cloud save transfers).
This IS a separate application/game on PlayStation 5 and trophies, stats and saves will not transfer
If you own a copy of Maneater on Disc, you will be able to insert that disc into your next-gen console and download the updated game to play. For those with a digital copy, you will download the updated version directly from the store onto your new hardware. PS4 to PS5, Xbox One to Xbox Series S and X.
Ray tracing is being used to enhance water reflections and refractions and ray tracing will be added in a future update
